Methodological principles of researching terminological phrases with somatic component

Abstract
The author analyzes in detail the methodological principles of research of terminological phrases that contain somatic components. The article focuses on delimitation of translator’s and translation process researcher’s toolkits; justifying the importance of using the semiotic model in translation process in general and translation of terminological phrases in particular. The core of research methodology is made up with method of structural and semantic modeling which permits to fine-calibrate the signifier components of potentially appropriate language units.
