Methodology for developing new test methods
Journal Title: Журнал інженерних наук - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper describes the methodology for developing new test methods and forming solutions for the development of new test methods. The basis of the methodology for developing new test methods is the individual elements of the system and process approaches. They contribute to the development of an effective research strategy for the object, the study of interrelations, the synthesis of an adequate model of the test method. The effectiveness of the developed test method is determined by the correct choice of the set of concepts, their interrelations and mutual influence. This allows you to solve the tasks assigned to achieve the goal. The methodology is based on the use of fuzzy cognitive maps. The question of the choice of the method on the basis of which the model for the formation of solutions is based is considered. The methodology provides for recording a model for a new test method in the form of a finite set of objects. These objects are significant for the test method characteristics. Then a causal relationship is established between the objects. Further, the values of fitness indicators and the observability of the method and metrological tolerance for the indicator are established. The work is aimed at the overall goal of ensuring the quality of tests by improving the methodology for developing the test method.

Application of Rough TOPSIS Technique for the Analysis of Engineering System Failure Causes
The prioritization of the causes of engineering system failure posed to be a challenge. Therefore, there is a need to develop a tool that will be used to identify critical problems of an engineering system to facilitate...
Increased Wear Coatings due Intrastructural Self-Correction
A mechanism for blocking and subsequent annihilation of endogenous microcracks due to their intrastructural self-correction has been proposed. It has been established that during tribomechanical processes of friction int...
Influences of Aluminium / E-Glass Volume Fraction on Flexural and Impact Behaviour of GLARE Hybrid Composites
Composites with different configuration of fiber (E-Glass) and metal (Aluminium) laminates were fabricated and tested for grasping optimum hybrid structure. GLARE (Glass laminate aluminium reinforced epoxy) is a unique c...
Increasing the Speed of Fractal Image Compression Using Two-Dimensional Approximating Transformations
Fractal image compression algorithm is known for allowing very high compression rates (the best examples – up to 1 000 times with acceptable visual quality) for real photos of natural objects, which is not possible for o...
Solving the Nonstationary Problem of the Disperse Phase Concentration during the Pneumoclassification Process of Mechanical Mixtures
The article dials with studying of the gas-dispersed systems classification process in gravitation pneumoclassifiers of prismatic shape. The aim of the research is to determine operating parameters of the investigated pr...
