METHODS FOR FINDING GEOACOUSTIC EMISSION IMPULSES BASED ON SPARSE APPROXIMATION AND CLUSTERIZATION ALGORITHMS
Journal Title: Вестник КРАУНЦ. Физико-математические науки - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue
Abstract
The sparse approximation is a powerful instrument for time-and-frequency signal analysis. This publication outlines use of matching pursuit method for finding impulses in geoacoustic emission signals. Designed algorithm was tested on actual data.

STUDY THE UNIQUE SOLVABILITY OF BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM OF FRANKL FOR MIXED-TYPE EQUATION DEGENERATE ON THE BOUNDARY AND WITHIN THE REGION
In this paper, the existence and the uniqueness of solution of the Frankl type boundary value problem for degenerating equation of the mixed type are proved.
PAINLEV´E TEST OF A MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMICS SYSTEM
One approximation of magnetohydrodynamics equations, which describe the cosmic object’s magnetic field, is considered. The analytic properties of a nonlinear system are investigated by Painlev´e test. Values of the coeff...
ON THE LOGNORMAL LAW OF FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION IN HIGH-FREQUENCY GEOACOUSTIC EMISSION PULSES
The paper is devoted to the detection of the law of frequency distribution in high-frequency geoacoustic emission signals generated in the result of dislocation changes in sedimentary rocks. Sparse approximation is used...
FINITE-DIFFERENCE SCHEME FOR FRACTAL OSCILLATOR WITH A VARIABLE FRACTIONAL ORDER
The paper deals with the explicit finite difference schemes for the fractional oscillator. The questions of approximation, stability and convergence of these schemes.
SHOCK WAVE MODEL OF THE CRATER FORMATION AND OTHER CAUSES OF EXPLOSIVE METHANE RELEASE
Model to explain the crater formation at the Yamal Peninsula and methane release on the Bennett Island is proposed. The reason causing these phenomena consists in the shock wave impact on permafrost gas hydrates deposits...
