W artykule zaprezentowano kilka podstawowych problemów analizowanych w kierunku budowy systemu typu ITS. Systemy te budowane są w celu umożliwienia optymalizacji podróży w sieci transportowej. Badano podstawowe związki pomiędzy parametrami ruchu: średnią prędkością i natężeniem w dobie.
