Международные усилия в преодолении эпидемии гепатита C и место Украины в глобальной стратегии ВОЗ по элиминации гепатитов в Европе

Abstract
The article outlines the main stages of preparation and further implementation of the Global strategy of health sector for viral hepatitis for 2016-2020 years, the main goal of which is elimination of viral hepatitis (including hepatitis C) in the European region as an important public health problem till 2030 year. Ukraine is one of few countries where due to the coordinated actions of the professional environment, the Ministry of Health and non-state structures, the State Target Program for the Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of viral hepatitis was implemented until 2016, which significantly increased access to highly effective treatment. E orts of Ukraine in counteracting the epidemic of viral hepatitis were accepted by the international community. Unfortunately, after many years of progress in issues related to viral hepatitis in Ukraine, due to uncoordinated reform e orts of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, banning professionals from the solutions of professional issues, there occurred a period of negative managerial decisions that not only reduce the quality of medical care for patients with bloodborne hepatitis, but also negatively a ect an international image of our country.
