Microstructural analysis for Sn-Bi-Sb-In alloy prepared by rapid solidification
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 12, Issue 2
Abstract
In the present study, Sn70-X at.% -Bi15 at.% -Sb15 at.%- Inx at.% alloy ( x= 0, 2, 4, 6), were prepared by melt spinning technique. Optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (SEM-EDX), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), and Vickers microhardness (Hv); were used to characterize the phase transformation and the microstructure evolution. The results contribute to the understanding of the microstructure evolution in alloys of the type prepared by melt spinning technique. This work reports on a comparative study of the rapidly solidified, in order to compare the microhardness and microstructural analysis.

The Effect of Suction and Injection on MHD Flow Between Two Porous Concentric Cylinders Filled with Porous Medium
This Paper deals wit the effects of suction (injection) on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) steady flow of a viscous and electrically conducting fluid in an annular porous region between two concentric cylinders. The inner cyli...
Evolution of unstable system.
Scenario of appearance and development of instability in problem of a flow around a solid sphere at rest is discussed. The scenario was created by solutions to the multimoment hydrodynamics equations, which were applied...
Physics of Climate Change: Harmonic and exponential processes from in situ ocean time series observations show rapid asymmetric warming.
Analyses of rare ocean timeseries in the top few meters show logarithmic and exponential processes control anthropogenic global warming (AGW) of which 93% is in the oceans. Processes result in asymmetric heat capture in...
Assessment of Environment Traffic Noise Pollution in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
The assessment of environmental traffic noise pollution in Uvwie local government area of Delta State, Nigeria was carried out using a well calibrated portable digital sound level meter (Model CEL-231). The s...
EFFECT OF CELLULAR MEMBRANE RESISTIVITY INHOMOGENEITY ON THE THERMAL NOISE-LIMIT
Our objective is to generalize the Weaver-Astumian (WA) and Kaune (KA) models of thermal noise limit to the case of cellular membrane resistivity asymmetry. The asymmetry of resistivity causes different effects in the tw...
