Mikhail Timofeev. Without communism: the ideology crisis in modern Russia (semiotic discourse)

Abstract
The specific character of the influence of decommunization on the transformation of the semiosphere of communism during the last years of the USSR existence and also in modern Russia is considered. The thesis that the case of Russia is very different from the majority of the former members of the Soviet bloc, including Baltic states, where the rupture with the communist discourse in semiotic practices could be seen, is substantiated.
