MILESTONES OF THE SECURITY ARCHITECTURE BUILDING IN THE BLACK SEA AREA
Journal Title: Impact Strategic - Year 2006, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
The world we are living in transforms and reshapes itself continuously. The confrontation strategies are replaced by partnership strategies, expressed in political and economical coopera- tion, in actions of international crisis and conflict management. One of the areas where this trend is primarily represented is the Wider Black Sea Area, a region of strategic opportunity, which should be characterized by prosperity, stability and security. The integration of the Wider Black Sea Area within the Euro-Atlantic system could not only consolidate the foundation of this system, but also protect it against the future threats to stability and peace, which represents, in our opinion, the top priority of the moment.
