Military Exoskeleton - Preliminary Kinematic Analysis
Journal Title: Problemy Mechatroniki. Uzbrojenie, lotnictwo, inżynieria bezpieczeństwa - Year 2014, Vol 5, Issue 3
Abstract
The first step in modelling exoskeleton as a type of mechatronic device has been shown in the paper. The military exoskeleton is a type of robot wearing by a soldier to support endurance and strength. Thorough literature analysis of the global constructions has been made since 1890 when the first patent Apparatus for facilitating walking, running and jumping had been reported. The main modern requirements of the exoskeleton construction have been determined and presented in this paper. As an example of motion analysis, the kinematics of one leg has been taken under consideration. Moreover, inverse kinematics problem has been solved using fuzzy logic. At the end, the results calculated with inverse kinematic equations and fuzzy logic have been compared.

Sliding Mode Control for a Gyroscope System
This paper presents a mathematical model of a gyroscope system with a sliding mode controller. A comparative analysis based on various control algorithms implemented in a controlled gyroscope system installed on a mobile...
Wpływ regulowanego azotowania gazowego na trwałość eksploatacyjną przewodu luf broni strzeleckiej
Lufy broni strzeleckiej w większości są produkowane z niskostopowych stali konstrukcyjnych, podobnych do stali 30HN2MFA [3, 5]. Celem badawczym było poszukiwanie nowych technologii typu multiplex m.in. cieplno-chemicznyc...
Zastosowanie zgrzewania tarciowego wolframowego stopu ciężkiego ze stopem aluminium w konstrukcji specjalnej
Przedmiotem pracy są wyniki badań procesu zgrzewania tarciowego wolframowego stopu ciężkiego WHA (ang. Weight Heavy Alloy) ze stopem aluminium AlMg3. Stwierdzono, że zgrzewanie tarciowe wolframowego stopu ciężkiego o gęs...
Replacement of PETN by Bicyclo-HMX in Semtex 10
Bicyclo-HMX (BCHMX) was studied in the form of a plastic explosive bonded by the plastic matrix of the explosive Semtex 10 and the results were compared with the original Semtex 10 which contains PETN as an explosive fil...
Discrete Methods of Simulation of Flow Phenomena in Gases and Liquids
The paper presents two methods of simulation of flow phenomena in gases and liquids based on molecular description of the medium: the Direct Simulation Monte Carlo method and the Molecular Dynamics method. These methods...
