Military Transformation and the Main Battle Tank: consequences for terrestrial employment technology

Abstract
The article identifies and relates the periods of Military Transformation with the positions on the use of the Main Battle Tank in the post-Cold War period. It aims to contribute to the academic debate about the importance of the material and the generation of combat power by the Brazilian Ministry of Defence.
