Abstract
Today it is recognized that one of the most prominent economists of the twentieth century was Milton Friedman. He created one of the most important economic doctrines - monetarism. Friedman 's legacy is an important contribution to economic theory and methodology The purpose of this article is to present as Milton Friedman, one of the Nobel laureates in economics and to discuss the major scientific achievements in the field of economics.
