MISCELLANEA: “Beauty” in Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present the notion of beauty according to Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophy. The author describes Gadamer’s thoughts referring primarily to the essay The Relevance of the Beautiful and philosopher’s major work Truth and Method. The article consists of five parts which depict, inter alia, the relevance of the beauty, relation between beauty and truth, the glare of beauty and the problem of the lack of beauty.
