Dear Editor Missed traumatic pancreatic injuries especially injury to the main pancreatic duct (MPD) is a small but significant cause for morbidity and mortality [1, 2]. During exploratory laparotomy, traumatic pancreatic injuries may pose a major challenge to the surgeon both in terms of diagnosis and management and therefore may easily be missed due to several reasons like [2-7]:
