MODEL OF ANTICRISM MANAGEMENT BY COMMERCIAL BANK

Abstract
The economic development of any country depends, first of all, on the state of development of the financial system, an important element of which is commercial banks. Since effective financing and servicing of individuals and legal entities can be ensured only under the condition of stable functioning of commercial banks, the problem of ensuring their financial sustainability, as well as crisis management, is becoming increasingly urgent. To date, the issue of financial stability of commercial banks and anti-crisis management is devoted to many works of both domestic and foreign scientists. However, the authors mostly focus on the nature, types and factors of crises, while the anti-crisis management, its system and the sequence of implementation remain inadequately investigated both in the theoretical and practical aspects. Accordingly, this study is aimed at solving the problems mentioned above. The analysis of the main indicators of the activity of commercial banks and the banking sector as a whole has shown that most of them are in crisis or on the verge of bankruptcy. One of the reasons for this situation is the absence or imperfection of the crisis management model, which must be implemented regardless of whether the banking institution is in a crisis situation or not, and which is the basis of the general system of crisis management. In order to better understand the necessity and importance of crisis management, we proposed a model for its implementation, adapted to the peculiarities of domestic commercial banks. The developed model of anti-crisis management by a commercial bank provides for eleven interrelated steps, for each of which the sequence and methods of implementation are defined.
