MODELING OF EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL TEACHER-STUDENT PAIRS IN UNIVERSITIES BASED ON APPLIED SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY METHODS

Abstract

In this paper, using artificial neural networks with Kohonen layers, method for modeling of effective educational and scientific teacher-student pairs are developed. As an example we investigated students and teachers of Philology Department of Applied Linguistics in National University «Lviv Polytechnic». For a basis of psychological compatibility criterion of the degree of individual’s aggressiveness are used. The idea of the method consists in formation of educational neural network matrix whose elements can be found by the survey respondents in the point system, followed by the transformation of the latter into educational coefficients. According to this algorithm, artificial neural network identified four main clusters that can be considered as eventual field of educational scientific pairs. Taking into account the results of computer simulation we can suggest that this approach greatly simplifies the work of a psychologist, but in any case cannot substitute it. The final conclusion about formation of a pair belongs to the psychologist.
