MODELLING THE EFFECT OF THE USE OF ROLLERS ON THEIR WEAR

Abstract
An important factor in the proper operation of a mill is the appropriate planning conditions of exploitation rollers, because this factor is the limiting element in the production process. The article presents a set of operational and research results, which are based on advanced programs concerning grinders in a certain period of operation in a hot strip mill. The presented paper mainly describes the impact of the mill on the length of the operation, the amount of transfusion, and the efficiency of the cylinder, which is a measure of the sustainability of the use of the cylinder.
