MODERN DIRECTIONS OF AUTOMATION OFTRAIN DISPATCHING ON THE RAILWAYS OF THE WORLD AND PERSPECTIVES OF THEIR IMPLEMENTATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract

In this work the existing directions of automation of train traffic dispatching on the railways of the world and possibilities of their introduction on the railway transport of Ukraine are investigated. Following the example of countries such as France and Germany, the transformation of the spatial structure of the dispatch control system of trains has been analyzed. The analysis of the experience of creating regional dispatch control centers on the railways of the world is carried out. The changes in the structure of the dispatch control system in conditions of increase of speed of trains' movement are investigated. Formulated principles of the organization of the space of dispatching center premises at the national and regional levels in the conditions of rail transport reform on the model of partial vertical division. A comparative analysis of strategies for the implementation of regional dispatch centers on the basis of estimating the performance of the railway network in relation to the number of regional centers on the network of various EU railway companies is carried out. According to the analysis, the strategy for improving of train dispatching for Ukrainian Railways has been determined. Recommendations on directions of automation of dispatching of train traffic on the railways of Ukraine are given.
