MODULARITY: A MAJOR ASPECT TO MAINTAINABILITY
Journal Title: International Journal of Innovative Research in Computer Science and Technology - Year 2019, Vol 7, Issue 6
Abstract
Researchers and Practitioners advocated that the modularity aspect of the software is highly desirable and significant for developing quality-oriented maintainable software. Despite the fact modularity is a vital and highly significant aspect for the software development process, it is poorly managed. This paper here highlights the importance of modularity broadly and also as an important contributor of software maintainability. In this paper, a correlation between the major attributes of object-oriented design and modularity has been ascertained. A modularity quantification model using multiple linear regression has been proposed for object-oriented design. Finally, the validation of the proposed modularity quantification model is made known by means of experimental tests and the results show that the model is highly significant.

Review on the Life Cycle Environmental Impacts of Wind Power
We take a critical look at what we now know round the conservational possessions of wind power throughout its life cycle. We track down that real collection of life - cycle costs evaluations (LCA) of wind energy gives a...

AI-Assisted Triage Using CT Head Scans For Emergency Diagnosis
The main goal of CT-based triage is to shorten the time it takes to reach the expert opinion for patients in emergency situations, especially in cases of cranial fractures and intracranial hemorrhage. Increasing the perf...
Single Image Super Resolution with Wavelet Domain Transformation and Sparse Representation
In this paper, we have proposed a new image resolution enhancement algorithm based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT), lifting wavelet transform (LWT) and sparse recovery of the input image. A single low resolution (LR)...
Multi-Objective Transportation Problem Under Fuzziness with S-type Membership Function
Transportation problem is a key optimization technique used these days for planning, especially, to minimize the cost. As a fact, in case of emergency, instead of cost the time plays an important role. Several researcher...
