Modyfikacja sieci ulic w rejonie dworca świebodzkiego we Wrocławiu

Abstract
In the paper two variants of modification of streets network near Grabiszyńska and Robotnicza streets in Wrocław were presented. There is no road infrastructure in the discussed region located in city centre, area 350 ha. Currently, the vehicles avoid this region by centre of city or by crowded Downtown Bypass. An influence of two variants of development of streets network in this region on traffic flow parameters was analyzed. A simulation computations were done using macroscopic continuous traffic flow model at a street network in the whole city. Vehicles’ trajectories were computed by Dijkstra algorithm which computes shortest time paths. An analysis was executed for several flow intensities. It was proven that both variants of network modifications shortened travel time by about 4 - 4,5 %, and decreased flow intensity in centre of city by about 7-15 %. The streets of increasing and decreasing flow intensity near region’s border were identified.
