Monkeypox, a new epidemiological threat?

Journal Title: Revista Eugenio Espejo - Year 2022, Vol 16, Issue 3

Abstract

The monkeypox disease virus is rare, the first case of it was detected in an African child in 1970. Animals living in the jungle areas of central and western Africa are its natural carriers. Currently, the health systems of various countries report new cases worldwide, raising alarms among various organizations and in the general population.
