Abstract

Motherhood is one of the highly cherished desires of most women. Though this is generally instinctive, it is also socio culturally determined. There is huge peer pressure on women to achieve motherhood, some- times, almost at any cost. There is often pressure on her marriage, marital life and womanhood.
