Multi Dimensional Digital Radar for Collision Avoidance and Security

Abstract

A proper remote sensing device is required to provide security and safety from unauthorized areas in case of trespassing or illegal usage of assets, private properties and to avoid collision in transportation system. In this paper we designed an ultrasonic transducer pair for detecting the objects and calculating the distance between the obstacles. The scanning section is designed with linear motor and driver for rotation of view scanning. The firing section of the obstacle is designed with firing circuit and a triggering motor. The distance is calculated and displayed in the LCD display and also the status RGY led’s. When the limit is reached, the buzzer indication is done using piezoelectric buzzer. The control section is designed using micro controller for programming and controlling of the motors and triggering circuit.
