Multi-Focus Medical Image Fusion using Tetrolet Transform based on Global Thresholding Approach
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper Multi-focus medical image fusion algorithm based on the tetrolet transform with global thresholding approach was proposed. Tetrolet transform is successfully applied in the image de-noising, image sparse representation, and image restoration. In this paper, tetrolet transform was introduced into the field of medical image fusion since its sparse degree is high. Tetrolet can describe the geometric structural feature of the medical images very well. This paper compares the proposed image fusion algorithm to few similar image fusion algorithms based on the performance evaluation metrics like Entropy, Sharpness and PSNR.
A Comparison of Spatial & Frequency Domain Fusion Methods
The main application of image fusion is merging the gray level high resolution image and results in a new image that retains the most desirable information and characteristics of each source image. Since the idea of imag...
Biodeterioration of Cotton by Cellulolytic Fungi
Fungal deterioration is a major issue in garment mills; mainly it affects high cellulosic materials like cotton. This study empirically explains the saccharification of cotton by Trichoderma sp., Aspergillus sp., Cladosp...
An Efficient Design for Reduction of Power Dissipation in Johnson Counter using Clock Gating
In this paper, a new method for minimizing power dissipation in 4-bit Johnson up-down counter is proposed. In this design, we have used a dual dynamic pulsed flip-flop (DDFF) [1], which supports embedding a logic module...
Assessment of Dry Mass Loss of Stored Cereals Due to Increment of Stored Temperature in Line with Global Warming
To monitor respiratory climacteric behavior of grains due to global warming, a study was conducted using paddy, green gram, corn and cowpea at initial moisture contents of 10.9%, 8.6%, 8.9% and 10.6% respectively. These...
In vitro Shoot Multiplication of Medicinally Important Caralluma stalagmifera Fischer
Abstract : An efficient shoot multiplication protocol was developed for Caralluma stalagmifera Fischer a medicinal plant belonging to the family Asclepiadaceae. Shootlets were regenerated from nodal explants of Caralluma...
