Journal Title: Archives of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy - Year 2015, Vol 17, Issue 1
Abstract
This is the second of a two part-series on Davanloo’s intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP).In the first part, the theoretical foundations for Davanloo’s metapsychology of the unconscious werereviewed. In the past five years Davanloo has focused his teaching on a live, Closed Circuit interviewingprogramme. The format of this programme, the Montreal Closed Circuit training programme, was also discussedand an interview from this programme was reviewed. This second article continues with this interview, exploring it in depth. Special consideration is given to the application of multidimensional unconsciousstructural changes as a means of creating intrapsychic changes.
