Multilevel Inverter Based Active Power Filter With Energy Balanced DC Link Capacitor
Journal Title: International Journal of Innovative Research in Computer Science and Technology - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 4
Abstract
This paper presents the modeling of a multilevel cascaded H-bridge inverter for a three phase shunt active power filter (APF). Multilevel-cascaded inverter can give better performance compared to other topologies. The DC link capacitor is designed based on energy balance principle. A closed loop current control technique is used to reduce harmonics and the voltage regulations are carried out by PI controller. The proposed modeling is verified by using MATLAB-Simulink software

Global Exponential Stability and Stabilization of Fractional-Order Positive Switched Systems
This paper is concerned with the global exponential stability(GES) and stabilization of fractional-order positive switched systems(FOPSS) with average dwell time(ADT). Firstly, the the concept of GES is extended to FOPSS...
RS CODED OFDM BY UNIQUE WORD PREFIX
— We expand our recently introduced concept of unique word orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (UW-OFDM). In UW-OFDM the cyclic prefixes (CPs) are replaced by deterministic sequences, the so-called unique words (U...
