Municipal waste management model with the use of optical sorting elements

Journal Title: CHEMIK nauka-technika-rynek - Year 2012, Vol 66, Issue 11

Abstract

The paper outlines the opportunities for creating waste management systems in terms of the changing legal premises in Poland. The author proposes using a hierarchical model, applied in the environmental management, as a tool assisting the development of the waste management system concept. The paper discusses the basic aspects of implementing elements of optical segregation into the mixed municipal waste management system.
