Mykhailo Hrushevsky’s Ties with National Minorities: the First Steps in Forming Ukrainian Political Nation in the 20th Century

Abstract

The article specifies the attitude of M. Hrushevsky toward solving the national issue of Ukraine in the early 20th century. It analyzes complex inter-ethnic problems facing the formation of Ukraine’s statehood on the eve of the national liberation revolution as well as the role of M. Hrushevsky in forming inter-ethnic consolidation of different social and political forces.
