Nano-fibers dispersion of aluminum oxide

Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the influence of the medium and methods of dispersing Al¬2O3 aluminium oxide nanofibers. Ultrasonic modelling, the addition of stabilizers (surfactants) and mechanical dispersion using a ball mill were used in the work. The concentration of suspensions prepared on the basis of distilled water was 0.25 wt. %. An aqueous solution of sodium citrate with a concentration of 0.2% (Na3C6H5O (aqueous solution) 0.002M) and ethyl alcohol (C2H5OH) was used as the surfactant. The results showed that the smallest particle size is observed in the medium of ethyl alcohol.
