Abstract
The article explores the concept of “criminological security” taking into account the characteristics of its security at the level of administrative-territorial entities (cities of regional, republican, district importance, as well as villages and towns), which enabled the author to highlight the relevant priority (main) areas of ensuring criminological security: 1) administrative direction; 2) regulatory direction; 3) anti-crime; 4) socio-economic direction; 5) information and analytical direction; 6) Interaction; 7) educational direction.
