NATIONAL ENERGY SECURITY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL GOALS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The process of modernization of sustainable development paradigm is presented, which lies in the expansion of global human development goals. The necessity of corresponding expansion of goals of the national energy policy of sustainable development with adding the goals of achieving economic welfare and technological development to the existing within the framework of the concept of the Energy Trilogy of the World Energy Council is substantiated. Results of a complex analysis of appropriate dimensions of threats to the national energy security of Ukraine are presented. Clarifications for terms “energy security” and “energy policy” are proposed.
