NATIVE HOTEL OPERATOR: ESSENCE AND ROLE IN INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

Abstract
Modern trends in the development of the hotel industry, such as democracy, transparency and openness to the world, give full opportunities for the successful development for the hotel business in Ukraine. Native hotel operators must combine modern technologies, quality of service, appropriate technical standards with national features. Nowadays, there is no consensus about scientific interpretation of the essence and contents of contract on hotel management. Research is based on the usage of general scientific, monographic method, theoretical generalization, comparison, systematization, system approach, analysis and synthesis. The article offers systematization of approaches for interpretation of a “management contract” category, discloses hotel operator functions (professional management, use of central reservation system, training of personnel, optimization of expenditures, profit maximization), summarizes the advantages of hotel management by hotel operator for both hotel owners and for the regional and national economy as a whole. As a result of the study, there were developed proposals for the implementation of contract management mechanism, which will lead to increasing of investment and simplification of their involvement, improving service, cost optimization, increasing in profitability and efficiency of the hotel industry in Ukraine.
