Abstract
The article treats about the demand of archival science and records management for auxiliary sciences studying historical sources. It is not disputed that the archival studies need sciences, which allow learning about historical sources. The author identifies contemporary types of sources and concludes that the accommodation of knowledge and methods seemingly foreign to the historian’s workshop takes place too slowly. Electronic document, databases and even paper-based modern documentation do not have source studies. Thus, the demand of archival science and records management presently goes into emptiness.
