Data Warehouse Requirements Analysis Framework: Business-Object Based Approach
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2012, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
Detailed requirements analysis plays a key role towards the design of successful Data Warehouse (DW) system. The requirements analysis specifications are used as the prime input for the construction of conceptual level multidimensional data model. This paper has proposed a Business Object based requirements analysis framework for DW system which is supported with abstraction mechanism and reuse capability. It also facilitate the stepwise mapping of requirements descriptions into high level design components of graph semantic based conceptual level object oriented multidimensional data model. The proposed framework starts with the identification of the analytical requirements using business process driven approach and finally refine the requirements in further detail to map into the conceptual level DW design model using either Demand-driven of Mixed-driven approach for DW requirements analysis.

Online Monitoring System Design of Intelligent Circuit Breaker Based on DSP and ARM
In order to accurately analyze the dynamic characteristics of the vacuum circuit breaker, a dual-core master-slave processor structure for online monitoring system based on DSP and ARM is proposed. This structure consist...
Security Issues of a Recent RFID Multi Tagging Protocol
RFID is now a widespread method used for identifying people and objects. But, not all communication protocols can provide the same rigorous confidentiality to RFID technology. In return, unsafe protocols put individuals...
A new vehicle detection method
This paper presents a new vehicle detection method from images acquired by cameras embedded in a moving vehicle. Given the sequence of images, the proposed algorithms should detect out all cars in realtime. Related to th...
RISK ASSESSMENT OF NETWORK SECURITY BASED ON NON-OPTIMUM CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS
This paper discusses in detail the theory of non-optimum analysis on network systems. It points out that the main problem of exploring indefinite networks’ optimum lies in the lack of non-optimum analysis on the network...
N-ary Relations of Association in Class Diagrams: Design Patterns
Most of the technology of object-oriented development relies on the use of UML diagrams, in particular, class diagrams. CASE tools, used for automation of object-oriented development, often do not support n-ary associati...
