A New Simple UV Spectrophotometric Determination of Paliperidone Palmitate in Tablets

Abstract
A simple ultra violet spectrophotometric method for the analysis of paliperidone palmitate. The chemicals and reagents were prepared for DDQ and WFB methods. Paliperidone Palmitate obeys Beer’s law between the range of 0-200µg/ml. Paliperidone Palmitate chemically named as, (9RS)-3-[2-[4-(6-fluoro-1,2,benzisoxazol-3- yl)piperidin-1-yl]ethyl]-2-methyl4-oxo-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyridol [1,2-a] pyrimadin-9-ylhexadecanoate is an antipsychotic drug used in the treatment of schizophrenia. It works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.
