A PATH SELECT ALGORITHM WITH ERROR CONTROL SCHEMES AND ENERGY EFFICIENT WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

Abstract
A wireless sensor network consists of a large number of sensor nodes that are spread densely to observe the phenomenon. The whole network lifetime relies on the lifetime of the each sensor node. If one node dies, it could lead to a separation of the sensor network. Also a multi hop structure and broadcast channel of wireless sensor necessitate error control scheme to achieve reliable data transmission. Automatic repeat request (ARQ) and forward error correction (FEC) are the key error control strategies in wire sensor network. In this paper we propose a path selection algorithm with error control schemes using energy efficient analysis.
