Journal Title: Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 11

Abstract

Intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) is the best spacing method of contraception widely practiced all over the world. Although it is widely accepted and a safe procedure of insertion is practiced a rare chance of perforation exists during insertion especially by inexperienced hands. We present a rare case of IUCD found in uterus at 14 weeks gestation which was later found in urinary bladder post delivery
