Automatic Speech Recognition: A Review
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
After years of research and development the accuracy of automatic speech recognition (ASR) remains one of the most important research challenges e.g. speaker and language variability, vocabulary size and domain, noise. The design of speech recognition system require careful attentions to the challenges or issue such as various types of speech classes, speech representation, feature extraction techniques, database and performance evaluation. This paper presents a study of basic approaches to speech recognition and their results shows better accuracy. This paper also presents what research has been done around for dealing with the problem of ASR

A Study on performance evaluation of Reed Solomon Codes through an AWGN Channel model for an efficient Communication System
In wireless, satellite, and space communication systems, reducing error is critical. High bit error rates of the wireless communication system require employing various coding methods on the data transferred. Chann...
A Survey on Marker-less Augmented Reality
Augmented reality (AR) is a live and combines direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment it's realtime data whose elements are augmented by computer-generated virtual content such as sound, video, grap...
Design & Implementation Of 32-Bit Risc (MIPS) Processor
In this paper we propose a novel technique of run-time loading of machine code for MIPS-32 soft-core processor. As we know, implementing fewer instructions and addressing modes on silicon reduces the complexity of the in...
Pattern Discovery For Text Mining Using Pattern Taxonomy
In this paper, we focused on developing efficient mining algorithm for discovering patterns from large data collection. and search for useful and interesting patterns. In the field of text mining, pattern mining techniqu...
Retrieval of Image by Combining the Histogram and HSV Features Along with Surf Algorithm
Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) In this paper Surf features along with the content properties of an image are used. Input will be one image file and software will search for the same images in database folder...
