Behavioral aspects of the real estate valuation

Abstract
The process of valuation is a complex process, never devoid of subjectivity. The level of subjectivity is significantly affected of behavior of property appraisers. They are subject to certain heurystics, which are not without influence on the result of the estimation. The aim of the study is the disclosure of behavioral determinants of the valuation process. For this purpose there have been used two research methods: a method of analysis of literature which documents the behaviorism in the valuation process and the review method. Article has scientific and aplicational qualities as well . In the first area there was shown an impact on the level of the factors that go beyond the cause – effect factors. In the second area there was made an attempt to formulate postulates for valuation process in practice.
