Benchmarking jako metoda budowania wartości zakładów gospodarowania odpadami

Abstract
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji benchmarkingu jako metody zarządzania dla zakładów gospodarowania odpadami, która może wspomagać budowanie ich wartości. Zastosowanie benchmarkingu może przyczynić się do oszczędzania istotnych kosztów dla zakładów, jakimi są: energia, paliwo, materiały. Część odpadów może być jedynie składowana, ale można z nich odzyskać surowce wtórne, jeśli zakład gospodarowania odpadami posiada sortownię. Dzięki benchmarkingowi można zidentyfikować i porównać mierniki, które pozwalają podnieść efektywność zakładu i osiągnąć status lidera. Takimi miernikami mogą być m.in.: powierzchnia kwater, transport odpadów, dodatkowe usługi. Efektem badań jest wdrożenie benchmarkingu w jednym z dolnośląskich zakładów gospodarowania odpadami.
