Dalla frattura alla scienza dei metalli
Journal Title: Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale - Year 2008, Vol 2, Issue 4
Abstract

Bond-slip analysis via a cohesive-zone model simulating damage, friction and interlocking
A recently proposed cohesive-zone model which effectively combines damage, friction andmechanical interlocking has been revisited and further validated by numerically simulating the pull-out test, from a concrete bl...
Ductile fracture modelling and J-Q fracture mechanics: a constraint based fracture assessment approach
. The reduced state of stress triaxiality observed in shallow cracked components allows an increased capacity to resist crack propagation compared to that observed in deeply cracked specimens. This may be regarded...
Influence of crack offset distance on the interaction of multiple cracks on the same side in a rectangular plate
In the present work finite element method has been employed to study the interaction of multiple cracks in a finite rectangular plate of unit thickness with cracks on the same side under uniaxial loading condition...
Estimation of fatigue life of selected construction materials under cyclic loading
In the literature, there are many criteria of multiaxial fatigue. They are based on various assumptions and parameters describing the process of fatigue. Among them, there is a special group of criteria based on...
Crack detection in beam-like structures bynonlinear harmonic identification
The dynamic behavior of beam-like structures with fatigue cracks forced by harmonic excitation ischaracterized by the appearance of sub and super-harmonics in the response even in presence of cracks withsmall depth...
