DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TEACHING DEPARTMENT

Abstract
Database system has become the primary mechanism used in various areas to store and manage their importantinformation. This system is a Static Web-based Database Management System in a Teaching Department of aUniversity. It is based on various departmental documents of Engineering Department of Y.T.U. The basicinformation of the department. is organized by five pages. They are Home, Contact, Labs, Information andDatabase. Database page is the main entry of the departmental database system. The departmental data aremainly classified into three categories: Documents, Forms and Records according to QMS system. There aretwo different types of records in teaching department. Office records are designed by twelve months and theteaching and learning records are designed by academic year or semester. The system is created by open sourceprogramming for user friendly access.
