DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ZYGOMATIC ARCH FRACTURES

Abstract
Fractures of the zygomatic complex consists 6,5-19,4% from facial skeleton traumas and may many fest as isolated arch as well as complex zigomatic ones. Displacement of bone fragments can be met in 80% of cases. The upper mentioned surgery is difficult due to anatomical particularities as well as the increased risk of blood vessels and facial nerve damage. The indications and ways of surgical access depend on clinical situation and represent a current problem widely discussed in the literature.
