Abstract
A 33 yrs old male presented with dyspnea on exertion since 6yrs was diagnosed to have chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) for which he underwent pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA) using deep hypothermic circulatory arrest (DHCA). After the operation the patient developed reperfusion edema and hypoxaemia because of which patient had delayed weaning from mechanical ventilation
