E-BUSINESS: FACTORS OF COST REDUCTION AND ECONOMIC SAFETY

Abstract
In the article the main characteristics of e-business and e-commerce enterprises functioning were considered, as well as general aspects of their economic safety management. The subject of the research is e-business enterprise. The purpose of the research is determining singularities of the costs formation and the level of economic safety of such enterprise under electronic economy conditions. Methods that were used in the research include method of generalization which was used for formation of the general aspects of economic safety management at e-business enterprises, as well as for determining the nature and content of the notions “e-business” and “e-commerce”; methods of analysis and synthesis which were used for determining the cost reduction factors that are formed during enterprise’s transferring from the sphere of so called real commerce to e-commerce; method of logical analysis was used for determining the components of economic safety that are a top priority task for the formation of the economic safety of e-business; graphical method and tabular procedure which were used for the presentation of the current outcomes. The result of the research is determining cost reduction factors at e-business enterprises, which include: reducing the cost of renting office facilities, reducing the number of jobs, reducing advertising cost, reducing the costs of external communications, reducing the costs of internal communications, reducing the costs of purchasing goods and services, reducing costs of obtaining marketing information. In the article there were also determined the functional components that form the level of economic safety of e-business enterprise: financial, intellectual and human, technical and technological, political and legal, informational, environmental, defensive. The sphere of application of the given research results is practical activity of enterprises under electronic economy conditions.
