Influence of Thermal Treatment on the Phase Compositions and Elemental Distributions of Co - Containing Catalysts
Journal Title: Caspian Journal of Applied Sciences Research - Year 2012, Vol 1, Issue 10
Abstract
The great importance of nano-structured materials has been motivating the search for new synthesis methods for these types of materials. This paper is primarily focused on the characterization of cobalt nanoscale oxides synthesized by a method based on reaction of fine-dispersed Al flakes with dichloroethane in paraffin medium in the presence of cobalt chloride at different calcined temperatures forming catalytic complexes. This chemical-based synthesis route is briefly described, and the feasibility of obtaining such oxides. Characterization was done by X-ray fluorescence microscopy (XRFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), which revealed, respectively, the presence of oxides and their nanoscale structures, including the elemental distribution and mass thickness of the these elements over the layers . In addition, some materials presented crystalline phases in their inner structure with different size under different targeted temperature.

Soret and Dufour Effects on Unsteady MHD Mixed Convection Flow Past a Vertical Porous Plate With Thermal Radiation
Soret and Dufour effects on unsteady on an unsteady magneto hydrodynamic mixed convection flow past a vertical porous plate with thermal radiation have been studied numerically. The non-linear partial differential equati...
Effect of Suspended Particles on the Onset of Thermal Convection in Compressible Elastico-Viscous Fluid in a Brinkman Porous Medium
In this paper, the effect of suspended particles on thermal convection in compressible elastico-viscous fluid in a porous medium is considered. For the porous medium, the Brinkman model is employed and Walters’ (Mo...
Study of Natural and Fishing Mortality and Exploitation Rate of Largehead hairtail, Trichiurus lepturus (Linnaeus, 1758) from the Northern Persian Gulf, Iranian waters
Monthly data of length composition for Trichiurus lepturus, were recorded from the Northern Persian Gulf (Bushehr province), from January 2010 to December 2010. Length frequency data analyzed with ELEFAN software. The ma...
Exact solution of Flow Generated Due to Longitudinal and Torsional Oscillations of an Electrically Conducting Couple Stress Fluid
The flow generated by a circular cylinder, performing longitudinal and torsional oscillations, in an infinite expanse of couple stress fluid is studied. The fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of uniform tra...
