Abstract

Our scientific project is based on the study of 18 pacients, aged 16 - 24 years, with different types of anodontia. Patients were devided, according to methods of treatment, into 3 groups: I’st group – 4 pacients with the presence of small spaces on the dental arch, being treated by increasing the dental crowns sizes with modern light – cured restorative composites; II’nd group – 6 pacients with moderate spaces on dental arches, being treated with fixed orthodontic appliances. The aim of treatment in this cases was the mesial teeth movement, with further crown remodeling in 4 pacients of this group. III’rd group – 8 pacients with spaces bigger than 1 tooth on the dental arch, these cases were solved by using a complex treatment: orthodontic, tooth remodeling, ceramic crowns applied on dental implants.
