Noise Removal with Morphological Operations Opening and Closing Using Erosion and Dilation
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
The mathematical operations are proposed in this paper. By using two mathematical operations erosion and dilation we can add and remove pixels. We can remove the noise or interference in power system. Opening and closing operations also discussed with erosion and dilation. These four morphological operations are also helpful in developing a morphological filter.

Calibration Estimator Using Different Distance Measures in Stratified Random Sampling
Abstract: Calibration estimators of finite population mean with different weights are considered. We define some new weights by using various loss functions. The estimators derived are compared by simulation.
Experimental and Analytical Study on Reinforced Concrete Deep Beam
ABSTRACT: Several reinforced concrete deep beams with different L/D ratios (1.5, 1.6, 1.71) were cast and tested in order to investigate the strain distribution pattern at mid-section of the beam. This paper descri...
