Power Quality Enhancement in Wind Turbine Fed FSIG under asymmetric faults using SVPWM control

Abstract

This paper presents the mitigation of faults in wind turbine connected fixed speed induction generator using distribution static compensator because of its excellent performance of fault mitigation. The D current controlled voltage source converter used for reactive power compensation when connected to the power system. The control system of the proposed d proposed wind turbine fed fixed speed induction generator is evaluated and simulated using SIMULINK/MATLAB environment with and without D-statcomunder asymmetric faults
