Properties of natural zeolites in benefit of nutrition and health

Abstract
Due to their remarkable properties, natural zeolites have come to the attention of medicine researchers to find new ways of treating various diseases and ensure an improved supply of mineralsin nutrition. The research results have shown the beneficial effects of application of various types ofnatural zeolites in healing or ameliorating especially gastrointestinal and diarrhea disease and cancer disease, as well. Because natural zeolites have a very good ability as ion exchangers they are largely used in nutrition for supplying the essential minerals in nutrition of animals.
