Proposal of Tabu Search Algorithm Based on Cuckoo Search
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence(IJARAI) - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper presents a new version of Tabu Search (TS) based on Cuckoo Search (CS) called (Tabu-Cuckoo Search TCS) to reduce the effect of the TS problems. The proposed algorithm provides a more diversity to candidate solutions of TS. Two case studies have been solved using the proposed algorithm, 4-Color Map and Traveling Salesman Problem. The proposed algorithm gives a good result compare with the original, the iteration numbers are less and the local minimum or non-optimal solutions are less.

An Inference Mechanism Framework for Association Rule Mining
Available approaches for Association Rule Mining (ARM) generates a large number of association rules, these rules may be trivial and redundant and also such rules are difficult to manage and understand for the user...
SUB-GOAL BASED ROBOT VISUAL NAVIGATION THROUGH SENSORIAL SPACE TESSELATION
In this paper, we propose an evolutionary cognitive architecture to enable a mobile robot to cope with the task of visual navigation. Initially a graph based world representation is used to build a map, prior to na...
Blocking Black Area Method for Speech Segmentation
Speech segmentation is an important sub problem of automatic speech recognition. This research is concerned with the development of a continuous speech segmentation system using Bangla Language. This paper presents...
A Mechanism of Generating Joint Plans for Self-interested Agents, and by the Agents
Generating joint plans for multiple self-interested agents is one of the most challenging problems in AI, since complications arise when each agent brings into a multi-agent system its personal abilities and utilities. S...
Speed and Vibration Performance as well as Obstacle Avoidance Performance of Electric Wheel Chair Controlled by Human Eyes Only
Speed and vibration performance as well as obstacle avoidance performance of the previously proposed Electric Wheel Chair: EWC controlled by human eyes only is conducted. Experimental results show acceptable perfor...
